  • Yaw Army met KIO leaders in Laiza, and so did the Chin Brotherhood (CB). CB has also met with NUG officials during the third week of July to work together strategically.
  • MDY PDF spokesperson, Ko Mong Daing, urged all resistance groups to unite and collaborate in fighting against the military rather than debating in words.
  • EROs, KNU, and KNPP have reportedly stated their position against the military dictatorship and its planned elections.
  • Former CPB member Than Soe Naing has emerged as a leader of the newly formed Nationwide Revolutionary Alliance (NRA), according to the group’s official statement. The alliance has emerged amid controversy, with critics describing its formation as lacking substance.
  • Conflicts are reportedly intense between Tatmadaw and resistance forces in townships, namely, Myingyan, Natgogyi, Madaya, Singu, Myaing, and Pauk, among others.
  • As of 14 July, Tatmadaw’s artillery attacks reportedly were conducted in Pauk, Yesagyo, and Wetlet, among others, killing civilians and damaging homes and hospitals.
  • After four months of earthquake, some affected families have not received any assistance provided by Tatmadaw, except for self-reliance support in some villages of Madaya township, which is controlled by local resistance forces.
