- On November 25, the Foreign Minister of Thailand said that it might be difficult for ASEAN to rebuild communication with Myanmar even after the upcoming election. In addition, the EU Parliament also announced the rejection of the Tatmadaw
- According to the International Crisis Group (ICG)’s briefing released on November 17, Myanmar’s Shan State has entered a more volatile and fragmented phase of conflict since the 2021 military coup, with powerful non-Shan armed groups such as TNLA and MNDAA seizing Shan-majority towns and sidelining traditional Shan political and military actors.
- Conflicts are reportedly intense across several regions of Central Burma, alongside Tatmadaw military raids and continuous aerial attacks, for instance, in Singu, Kanblau, and Myaing
- From August to November 2025, during the military operation in Mawlaik, the local resistance forces reported that they gained control of over 8 Tatmadaw and its paramilitary camps in 17 villages.
- Furthermore, local resistance forces shot down Tatmadaw paramotor, which was conducting bomb attacks over Myaing and Pauk townships, in the northern part of Magway, on November 22.
- According to locals, People’s Defense Force (PDF) fighters have left Mogoke town on November 28.
- As of late November 2025, according to the UNHCR figures, over 3.6 million people are being internally displaced in Myanmar. Among them, Sagaing alone has recorded almost 1.3 million IDPs since the coup.
