Project Summary

Our governance programme strengthens accountable, citizen-centred governance in central Burma’s emerging administrative systems. As People’s Administration Teams and Federal Unit governments expand their roles, we support institutional development, civic participation, and policy engagement.

Our work focuses on three core areas: promoting civic participation through community dialogue and social accountability mechanisms; providing technical assistance to local administrations in service delivery, coordination, and governance systems; and generating locally led data to inform decision-making and accountability.

In parallel, we facilitate policy dialogue and intergovernmental engagement to strengthen institutional frameworks and democratic governance practices.
