Sitrep

  • Conflicts are reportedly intense between the Tatmadaw and resistance forces in townships, such as Pakoku, Thabeikyin, and Ngazon townships, resulting in villagers being forcibly displaced due to frequent aerial attacks and raids by the military.
  • Critical needs remain unmet, more than 100 days after the 28 March earthquake. Meanwhile, aftershocks as of July caused panic among residents in Mandalay.
  • Near Pakokku airport, the resistance forces jointly conducted guerrilla attacks against the Tatmadaw column, lasting the battle for about 20 minutes.
  • Indian military delegation reportedly met with Vice Senior General Soe Win in Naypyidaw and discussed military cooperation and Tatmadaw’s planned election, among others, reported by a state-owned source.
